Hibiscus Flowers: The Second Collectible Set Explained

Hibiscus Flowers are the second of Wuhu Island's two collectible sets, and they work differently enough from Spocco Photos that players who have finished one often assume they have finished both.

What they are

Flower collectibles hidden around the island's leisure routes. Like the photos, they are unmarked, they are logged as you find them, and completing the set unlocks clothing that cannot be obtained any other way.

Where they grow

The placement follows the island's vegetation rather than its structures, which shifts the search toward the greener and quieter parts of the map:

  • Resort gardens and planted areas near the plaza, where the flowers blend into scenery.
  • Hill slopes and trails, off the skateboard's main lines.
  • Coastal vegetation near the beaches and coves.
  • Islet greenery, reachable only by water.

That distribution is the practical difference from Spocco Photos: the photos cluster around structures and points of interest, the flowers cluster where the island is quietest. A player who searched for photos by following landmarks will find the flowers by leaving them.

How to search efficiently

  1. Scout by plane at low altitude. Flowers are small, and the altitude that reveals a photo's glint can hide a flower in foliage.
  2. Sweep the green zones specifically. Do not re-walk the routes you used for the photos.
  3. Take the water route to the islets early. They are the least-visited part of the map and the easiest place to leave a set incomplete by one item.

The last point is the one that catches people: a set sitting at nearly complete for weeks is usually missing an islet item.

The reward

Completing the flower set unlocks an exclusive outfit set, in the same way the photo set does. Neither is sold in the Item Center, and neither appears in the per-sport achievement rewards. Between them, the two collectible sets cover a meaningful part of the wardrobe that currency cannot reach.

Is completion worth it

For collectors, yes, and for the same reason the photo set is: the reward is unobtainable elsewhere. For everyone else, the flower hunt is the game's best tour of the island's quieter half, and the leisure challenges give the routes a purpose beyond collection.
